The Mitshubshi Lancer Evo 5 Turbo blanket is designed specifically to work around the internal wastegate found on this turbocharger. As you can see from the imagery, the turbo jacket has a perfect cut out to sit comfortably on the Evo turbo, while providing maximum protection, and zero interference. With the Mitsubishi Evolution being known for its high revving, high performance rally set up, hot air builds up at the front of the engine, and causes massive heat soak throughout the engine bay. A turbo blanket will help INCREASE Power over and provide a more consistent power curve, REDUCE heat soak within the engine bay, REDUCE air intake temperatures, IMPROVE reliability and PROTECT surrounding components from damaging heat.
